Editorial Standards and Review Policy

Every clinical page on this site is written to a standard. This page describes what that standard is.

AUTHORSHIP

Who Writes and Reviews This Content

All clinical content on muradcounseling.com is written and clinically reviewed by Felix Murad, M.Ed., LPC-S, LMHC, CMHC, NCC, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board-Approved Supervisor licensed in Texas, Washington, and New Hampshire, practicing in Florida through out-of-state telehealth provider registration. No content is outsourced, syndicated, or generated without clinical review.

SOURCES

How Claims Are Grounded

Clinical descriptions reflect the published evidence base for exposure and response prevention, inhibitory learning, acceptance and commitment therapy, EMDR, habit reversal training, and related interventions, alongside diagnostic standards from the DSM-5-TR. Where research is unsettled or individual variation is significant, the content says so instead of overstating.

UPDATES

How Content Is Maintained

Pages are revised when clinical standards, licensure status, or practice details change, and each article displays the date of its most recent substantive update. If you find something outdated or inaccurate, the Contact page is the fastest way to flag it.

SCOPE

What This Content Is and Is Not

Everything on this site is education. It is not therapy, not an assessment, not a diagnosis, and not a substitute for treatment. Reading these pages does not create a counselor-client relationship. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or use your local emergency services.

COMPLIANCE
