Murad Counseling accepts private pay and select insurance plans. Telehealth is offered to adults in Texas, Washington, New Hampshire, and Florida, where legally permitted. Payment is due at service via credit, debit, or HSA/FSA card.

How Superbills and Reimbursement Work

A superbill is an itemized receipt that includes diagnostic codes, service codes, session dates, and provider credentials your insurer needs to process an out-of-network claim. A superbill may be provided upon request, when applicable.

A superbill does not guarantee reimbursement. Whether and how much a plan pays depends on the plan’s terms: deductible status, allowed amounts, claim rules, and the insurer’s determination. You are responsible for verifying your out-of-network benefits and submitting claims to your plan.

Yes. The initial consultation is a 15-minute phone call at no charge. It is a fit conversation with no obligation to begin treatment.

Session frequency is collaboratively determined based on clinical need, treatment goals, availability, and informed consent. Many clients attend weekly, and frequency is reassessed as treatment progresses.

The practice primarily serves adults. Adolescent cases may be considered on an individual basis, taking into account age, clinical appropriateness, parental involvement, location, and availability. These factors are discussed during the consultation. If you are the parent of a minor adolescent whom you believe would benefit from our service, please contact the office to discuss whether we can work with your child.

Adults must contact the practice and schedule their own consultation. You may encourage the person to call, email, or use the booking link, but appointments should not be made on another adult’s behalf.
I cannot confirm whether someone is a client or discuss their care without the person’s written authorization or another lawful basis. If you schedule for another adult, I will ask that person to contact the practice directly.
